800 meter. "Food / good mood / drinks". Modern, hip, medium-priced bar/restaurant in the centre of the Brugsepoort. Closed on Thursdays.
950 meter. "A place to combine a healthy and conscious lifestyle with busy urban life." Attracts a lot of young families. Especially interesting for its brunch buffet formula.
950 meter. Vegan restaurant with a fantastic interior. Not expensive but not cheap either. Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
950 meter. Arguably Gent's most famous frietkot. Interesting selection for vegetarians. Closed on Saturdays.
1000 meter. The very first 100% plant based and organic pizza in Belgium. Present at festivals, markets and private events. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Youri worked here!
1000 meter. Interior design shop and world-cuisine restaurant in the city centre. Very charming tea garden behind the gallery, transporting you back in time. Only open during weekends and on public holidays, between noon and 20h00.
1100 meter. Anarchist Centre close to Pierkespark that organises a Volksküchen (VoKu) every Wednesday and every Friday at 19h00. Helping out is expected! They also organise film nights, lectures, and function as headquarters for antifascist protests, and a collective for biological food. Also open as a cheap (and cool!) bar.
2400 meter. Vegan restaurant run by Misha and Leenken, that quickly gained national recognition and with reason! Youri works here as well. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
