1000 meter. Great hostel with a lively atmosphere, cool bar, and loads of creative activities. Briek hosted a poetry night here, for example!

1200 meter. Beautiful authentic bar ran by a retired beer enthusiast. Check out the idyllic garden! Only open from Monday through Thursday.

2800 meter. Summer bar of De Chinastraat. Closed during autumn and winter. "A green oasis in the Gent urban wilderness, hidden between the Gent docks and the industrial area. A quirky place with a backdrop of original structures made from recycled and reclaimed materials, created in our makerspaces. An idyllic garden where young and old can relax and escape from the hustle and bustle of the city."
