400 meter. Central grassy open space in the middle of the historical and enchanting Begijnhof.
650 meter. Elongated park with a mix of ordered and rough natural patches.
750 meter. Not quite "nature", but sufficient for walking the dog. Has an outdoor gym and a small half-pipe, and envelopes the courthouse.
1100 meter. Tiny cute park with loads of old trees. Has recently been connected to the formerly private garden of Villa Voortman.
2000 meter. Nature reserve for pretty winter walks and birdwatching. The entrance at the Hoosmolen is the most logical coming from BHL.
3700 meter. Recreation domain around a lake. Contains Belgium's largest skatepark.
